About Me

I reckon there is more to it than reading the "about the author" page, which is more so a high-level summary of most of my professional life. As such, the entire website may provide much more information about me and how I see and enjoy life.

First Home Page in 1992

I have a web presence since 1982 in form of an e-mail address — back then with CompuServe — and created my first home page in 1992 on a MicroVAX, connected to the Internet. My first permanent Internet connection was established in 1995, and ever since I have a permanent presence on the Internet. 

Google AdSense

After starting to revamp my site in April 2007, I have decided to see, whether the Google Adsense™ program works for me… generating some revenue for the hosting of my website. After two months I made 3 USD. Well, I leave this open for intepretation. I am not really into advertising and "abusing" my site for it… I am not convinced and we will see about its future.
Note: Google AdSense is basically content-related advertising, which can be seen on most of my pages.
Update: November 2008; I have disabled AdSense.
